Rather than removing it, I covered the existing acrylic texture with heavy layers of blue paint. The texture from the original painting remains and shapes the movement of the sea, giving the surface a depth that emerged through the process rather than being planned.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"816\"\u003eThe work is created with acrylic paint and modelling paste on canvas and includes subtle silver detailing in the corners.
