Dance of the Swans

Dance of the Swans is an original acrylic painting on textured canvas, created in a palette of blue, teal, pink, purple, and yellow. The scene shows two swans gliding across the water and two swans in flight above, accompanied by seagulls. In the background, cherry blossom trees are barely detectable, suggested rather than defined.

The painting is inspired by river scenes in Kilmainham’s War Memorial Gardens during the cherry blossom season. It reflects a sense of calm, the symbiosis of nature, and the renewal of spring.
