River Symphony

River Symphony is an original acrylic painting inspired by the River Liffey in Chapelizod and its rich, diverse birdlife. Passing by the river daily and observing the lush greenery and local wildlife provided the inspiration for this piece. Painted in early 2024, the work reflects the life and movement of Chapelizod’s (Dublin) riverside environment.

The painting depicts mute swans, herons, seagulls, and a mallard duck with ducklings. The scene is framed by dense greenery, with textured gold details added onto the canvas and along the edges, highlighting the natural vibrancy of the riverbank.
